Childcare Trainee / Educator / Kitchen Hand

We are a friendly and inclusive early learning service in Sydney’s Inner West and are seeking a Childcare Trainee / Educator / Kitchen Hand to join our supportive team.

This is a dual-role position, with the primary focus as a Kitchen Hand, supporting meal service and kitchen operations, while also assisting educators within the learning environment when required.

We Encourage Applications From:

Trainees currently studying or looking to commence a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Qualified or experienced educators
Kitchen Hands interested in working in a childcare setting
Key Responsibilities:

Heating and serving meals
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
Supporting children during meal times
Assisting educators in the learning environment when required
Adhering to centre policies and procedures
Essential Requirements:

Current Working With Children Check (WWC) – mandatory
Food Safety Handling Certificate – mandatory
A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Genuine interest in working with children
