About us:
Deli Republic is a vibrant deli-café inside The Cannery, Rosebery, serving premium meats, cheeses, pantry staples, and made-to-order paninis the locals can’t get enough of. Whether it’s a morning coffee or cheeky slices of mortadella, we’re all about great food, good vibes, and genuine service.

About the role:
We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll bring strong hospitality and retail experience, great communication skills, and a love for creating a welcoming atmosphere.

What you’ll do:

Lead and motivate the FOH team, ensuring smooth daily operations
Work closely with the owners to manage staff, service, and workflow
Deliver warm, professional customer service every day
Assist with stock control, ordering, and POS operations
Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting space
(Bonus) Barista or coffee experience – or we’ll train you!
What we’re looking for:

Strong hospitality and retail experience (2–3+ years preferred)
Confident communicator and natural people person
Organised, calm under pressure, and proactive
Passionate about food
Flexible availability (no late nights!)
Must have full working rights in Australia (High proficiency in English)
