Medical Receptionist - Full Time/ Part Time

Medical receptionist required to work at Cardiac Care Centre - a medical business in Wetherill Park, Sydney.

This is a busy role that would suit an organized professional with a mature attitude and great communication skills.

APPLICANTS MUST BE FAMILIAR with:

HEALTH TRACK, Medical Director/ Pracsoft, Best Practice, or other similar PMS software.

Working with a highly supportive team, it is essential that you are a team player.

The position requires a switched on experienced medical receptionist to be the "face" of this practice.

Exceptional customer service skills required.

The ideal candidate would be patient, tolerant and understanding, and be highly attentive to the needs of our patients.

MUST HAVE MEDICAL RECEPTION EXPERIENCE (1 Years MINIMUM)

The successful applicant will possess:

Excellent customer service skills
Previous admin/reception experience is a MUST
Experience with medical software preferred
Excellent telephone manner
Proficiency in Medicare billing & EFTPOS and general computer skills
Good organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritization
Attention to detail and be proactive
Ability to multi-task within a busy environment and work under pressure
An enthusiastic and friendly personality with excellent communication skills
Punctuality, reliability and flexibility
The best part of your day will consist of answering telephone queries and taking patient bookings.

You will also be required to enter details on an in-house medical data base and complete associated administration duties and general up keep of the Doctor's rooms.

Good working knowledge of Medicare, DVA, private medical accounts and medical software preferable. Training will be provided.

As you will be utilizing both MS Office and an in-house medical database you will need to possess solid computer skills. Some experience in the general medical industry is preferred, but not essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Entering patient information in our medical database
General office/reception/admin duties
Managing phone bookings and inquiries
Making appointments for specialists and tests and confirming appointments
Billing Patients
Records management
Our practice is located near Fairfield Hospital (buses but no train station).

Free onsite parking is available.

This will be a permanent role.

Our office hours are:

9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday

9 am – 5 pm on Saturdays.

Salary is negotiable, based on skills, award, age and experience.

To be eligible to apply for this position you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa.
