Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation across various platforms and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud services, virtualization, databases, operating systems, and network management. The IT Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining system security, optimizing performance, and implementing new technologies to support business growth. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and security.
Oversee virtualization environments including VMware and ESXi, performing updates and troubleshooting issues.
Administer databases including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL solutions; optimize database performance.
Support various operating systems including Windows and Linux by installing, configuring, and maintaining systems.
Configure and manage DNS, VPNs, and other network services to ensure secure connectivity across the organization.
Develop and implement automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python, or JavaScript to streamline operations.
Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker to facilitate continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
Monitor system health and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime or security breaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan infrastructure upgrades and new technology deployments.
Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Experience

Proven experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
Strong background in database management with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with operating systems including Windows Server and various Linux distributions.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as DNS configuration, VPN setup, REST APIs, and network security protocols.
Experience scripting with Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python or JavaScript for automation tasks.
Proficiency with DevOps tools including Git version control system, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes orchestration tools.
Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes for application deployment.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently while maintaining documentation standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an IT professional eager to leverage their technical expertise in a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

Pay: $58,000.00 per year
