Job Summary

Grace Mobile Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate, trustable, and dedicated In-Home Support Worker (Caregivers, Cleaners, etc.) to provide high-quality care to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, medication management, meal preparation, and companionship, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Candidates should be committed to delivering respectful, personalized care tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately according to care plans
Prepare basic nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean living space
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
Support clients with dementia or disabilities by implementing specialized care techniques
Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times
Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care settings is preferred, but not needed
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
Familiarity with dementia care and working with people with special needs is a plus
Previous caregiving experience involving meal preparation, cleaning, and personal assistance is beneficial
Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively
Competency in listening and speaking in English
