Content Creator & Social Media Manager

APEX Rope Industries Inc. is a provider of rope access, high-angle rescue, confined space services, and industry training across Western Canada. We have recently opened a purpose-built work-at-height and rescue training facility and are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to help promote our brand, people, and training programs.

This role focuses on hands-on content creation and day-to-day management of our social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Create photo and video content for social media and marketing use
Capture content during training courses, facility use, and select field operations
Edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video)
Manage and schedule posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
Write professional captions aligned with our brand and industry
Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar
Monitor engagement and performance metrics
Coordinate with management to plan upcoming content
Requirements

Experience in social media management and content creation
Strong photography and video skills (camera or high-quality mobile)
Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in industrial and training environments
Reliable transportation for occasional on-site work
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industrial, construction, or trades-based marketing
Familiarity with rope access, rescue, or work-at-height industries
Drone photography/videography experience
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe suite)
