Job Summary
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our design team at Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House under Mehra Food Group. As we expand our portfolio of restaurants, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help design and shape multiple brands from the ground up. In this role, you'll work within our Design Team and closely with our Marketing Team to support a wide range of visual projects across Stacked and other brands, from static graphics to motion design. You’ll collaborate across departments, contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, and bring ideas to life through clean, thoughtful execution. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Art Director and fellow Junior Designer to execute design solutions across digital and print media.
Potentially support in the production of motion graphics and short-form animations for various platforms
Create visually engaging graphics, including social media assets, website and email assets, in-store material, digital ads, and branded collateral.
Support cross-functional teams by adapting designs based on feedback and shifting priorities.
Assist in maintaining brand consistency & developing multiple brand identities across all touchpoints.
Manage multiple projects between brands simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and creative reviews.
Present design solutions to and collaborate with the entire Marketing Team.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in a graphic design role (internships and freelance work welcome).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
Post-secondary education in Graphic Design is an asset.
A strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital design work.
Understanding of brand identity systems and design principles.
A strong understanding of typography.
Ability to take direction and constructive feedback from multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
A collaborative spirit with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
Nice To Have
Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
Basic knowledge of design for web or email.
Motion design and/or illustration skills.
