🚀 We’re Hiring: Satcom Support Engineer (L1 / L2 / L3) 📍 Location: Mumbai 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for a Satcom Support Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The role involves providing technical support for satellite communication systems across maritime and offshore environments, working with VSAT, L-band, and next-gen LEO/MEO platforms. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for satellite communication services • Monitor satellite terminals, network links, and overall system health • Troubleshoot connectivity, antenna alignment, modem/router issues • Perform remote configuration of routers, modems, and firewalls • Analyze signal strength, latency, bandwidth usage, and packet loss • Coordinate with NOC, teleport teams, OEMs, and service providers • Escalate complex issues and track them to closure • Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities remotely • Maintain accurate tickets, logs, and documentation • Participate in shift-based / on-call support as required 🛠 Technical Skills Required • Strong understanding of VSAT & satellite communication systems • Solid IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT, VLANs) • Hands-on experience with routers, firewalls & WAN devices • Working knowledge of Linux CLI and remote tools (SSH, RDP, TeamViewer) • Experience with diagnostic tools (Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark) 🎓 Qualification & Experience • Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Marine Engineering • 2–7 years of experience in Satcom support or NOC operations • Exposure to platforms such as KVH, Hughes, Viasat, Starlink, OneWeb preferred 📜 Certifications (Preferred) • OEM certifications (Intellian, Cobham, KVH, Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium) • CCNA / Network+ / GVF certification • ITIL Foundation is an advantage 📩 Interested candidates may DM me or email their resume to: daruwallasllp@gmail.com
