A Computer Network Field Technician at TrailBlazer Techs is a team player with effective interpersonal skills. They work with a high level of accuracy and great attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

An TrailBlazer Network Field Technician has excellent oral & written communication skills, along with an ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Our full-time technicians must be available on call within an 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday. As Field Technicians do commute to perform work at client sites, a personal reliable vehicle is a requirement.

Field Technicians must be available for work on-call within an 8-hour shift during weekdays.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations, and peripheral equipment
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
Load computer tapes and disks and install software and printer paper and forms
Provide problem-solving services to network users
Perform routine network startup and shut down and maintain control records
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Web-server hardware and software
Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
