Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications
Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces with precision and attention to detail
Use rigging techniques to access hard-to-reach areas safely
Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout the job site
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise
Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, restoration, or industrial painting
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and scaffolding techniques
Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Experience in carpentry or working with schematics is a plus
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and painting operations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
