As a Business Development Representative with Linnworks, you’ll be prospective customers' first point of contact. You will generate and qualify leads through outbound and inbound outreach, working closely with Marketing and Account Executives. You’ll be responsible for identifying high-potential prospects, initiating conversations, and setting up qualified meetings that drive pipeline and revenue growth. This is an incredible opportunity to take your SaaS sales career to the next level!

Please ensure you are eligible to work in the UK, as we are unable to accommodate sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential eCommerce clients through outbound prospecting (emails, calls, LinkedIn).
Qualify inbound leads and route them to the appropriate sales team members. Craft compelling outreach messaging tailored to personas within the eCommerce space. Conduct discovery calls to understand customer pain points and align with our value proposition. Book meetings and demos for Account Executives. Maintain accurate records in our CRM and regularly update lead and opportunity statuses. Collaborate with Marketing on campaign feedback and lead quality.
Meet and exceed monthly KPIs, including outreach volume, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created.
Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or sales-related role, ideally in SaaS or eCommerce.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re comfortable engaging C-level and VP-level prospects. Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo).
Team player with a growth mindset and desire to build a career in tech sales.
Nice to Have

Experience working with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce).
Familiarity with the e-commerce SaaS ecosystem or digital retail customer journeys.
Prior experience in a scaling startup or mid-sized tech environment.
