Job Description

The Operations Engineering Student will support Island Gas by assisting with daily operational activities that help maintain the health, safety, and functionality of two sites and related transportation systems. This role offers hands-on exposure to operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment

Hourly wage: $23.45 - $25.10


Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program (Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline preferred)
Interest in operations, maintenance, and industrial processes
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Assist with daily operational activities to support safe and efficient site operations
Support health and safety initiatives and compliance requirements
Participate in assigned operational upgrade and improvement projects
Assist with maintenance-related activities and process efficiency improvements
Support documentation updates and operational records
Develop an understanding of how Island Gas operates within the organization
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams on shift-based work
