Senior Accountant

Our office is looking for a Full Time Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:

Efficiently work on compilation engagement assignments in a timely and efficient manner for a variety of business industries
Effectively complete tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
Build strong working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests in a timely manner
Other related duties as required

Your experience and education

Charted Professional Accountant designation preferred
Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business
Minimum 2 years of work experience in an accounting role within Canada
Previous experience with accounting programs including Caseware, Caseview, and TaxPrep
Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Suite programs
Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
You can prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks with keeping an awareness of deadlines critical to client service.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
