Classification: JA5 - JB1 (Dependent on qualification)
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $3,159.19 - $3,989.40
Hours per fortnight: 80 (Including an ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

Join our dedicated Health Information Services team as a Health Information Manager or a Clinical Coder with a Diploma (or equivalent) in Clinical Classification. This role is open to new graduates as well as experienced professionals looking to further develop their skills.
You will be involved in a broad range of activities, including accurate clinical coding using ICD-10-AM and 3M software, data integrity audits, external data reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to other Clinical Coding Service functions, collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance, and support the transition to a digital health record environment.

As part of your development, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an in-house training program designed to build and consolidate your clinical coding skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Your New Division
The Finance and Resources Division is responsible for financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and analysis, together with our procurement, materials management and facilities management functions. The division also includes Health Information Services with key roles in medical record management, clinical documentation, freedom of information, and external data reporting requirements. These are essential non-clinical services providing high-quality support, advice, monitoring and compliance functions. The team are focussed on delivering the strategic vision within their responsibilities and on assisting the organisation operationally.
