About the Opportunity
Due to growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Representative - Mining to join our Mackay team supporting mines in the Bowen Basin.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
Provide holistic OEM customer and technical support for our valued mining customers
Manage an existing network of customers and source new customers to grow our business
Promoting parts and service sales solutions to achieve company budgeted sales targets
Working to a customer call cycle and actively building parts & service quotes tailored to customers’ needs
Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities, and competitor activity
Attendance at customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues
Provide fluent customer relationship management, and a positive customer experience
To be successful you will need:
Technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment
Demonstrated success in a similar role
Be self-motivated and be able to build long term relationships
Excellent administration, communication, and people skills
The ability to travel as required within your region
Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
