The Role

The Straddie Hotel, part of the Moreton Hospitality Group, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Gaming Attendants to join our vibrant team. Located on beautiful North Stradbroke Island, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced gaming environment while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

As a Gaming Attendant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the gaming room, ensuring compliance with all gaming and licensing regulations while creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for patrons.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing friendly, professional customer service within the gaming room
Operating and monitoring gaming machines in accordance with OLGR and licensing requirements
Handling cash, payouts, and basic gaming reconciliations accurately
Assisting with opening and closing procedures of the gaming room
Monitoring patron behaviour and promoting responsible gambling practices
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in the gaming area
Assisting with basic reporting and escalating issues to the Duty Manager as required
Upholding all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Gaming Attendant (preferred but not essential)
A strong understanding of responsible gambling and customer service
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Mandatory Requirements

Current RSA and RSG (essential)
TAB experience desirable but not essential
