Spring Lake RV Resort is seeking a friendly, motivated individual or couple to join our team as a Campground Host for the 2026 camping season. This is a full-time, on-site position, with a fully serviced RV site provided.

Our open season runs from May 1 to September 30, 2025.

We are a family-run RV resort located just 10 minutes west of Stony Plain, off Highway 16A. Our brand is defined by exceptional customer experience, and we take pride in creating a welcoming, family-focused environment where guests can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy time together.

Position Overview

The Campground Host plays a key role in ensuring our grounds, facilities, and guest services are maintained to a high standard. This position includes a combination of outdoor maintenance duties and office/customer service responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Outdoor Duties

Site cleaning (raking, fire pit clean-out, garbage pickup)
Garbage, recycling, and compost removal and organization
Cabin cleaning (2 cabins on property)
Deep cleaning of bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and outhouse
Firewood and convenience item delivery to sites
RV site escorts
Park maintenance (watering flowers, weed trimming, animal waste removal at beach, raking playground sand, park-wide garbage pickup)
Newspaper delivery
Weekend resort security rounds (10pm-1am)
Ongoing communication with the Office Manager
Office & Guest Services Duties

Guest check-ins and reservations using campground software
Processing payments and operating cash register
Answering phone calls and guest inquiries
Daily cash-outs
Opening and closing the office
Convenience store operations, including:
Making soft-serve ice cream
Operating a 3-minute pizza oven
Restocking and selling retail items
Office cleaning (sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning)

Flexible schedule availability
Requirements

Must own and live in an RV
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (outdoor)
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work Schedule

Full-time position
Five days per week
Shifts range from 5–8 hours per day
Resort hours: 8:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Split shifts may be required on weekends to accommodate security rounds

Monthly salary-based income
