Job Description

Are you looking for a condo management role with real work-life balance, competitive pay, and a portfolio size that lets you do the job properly? At Key Condo Management, we’re hiring a Condo Manager to join a growing team that’s building a modern, sustainable approach to condominium management in Calgary.

This is a role for someone who cares about service, likes clear systems, and wants to grow in the industry without being buried under an unreasonable unit count.

Why work with Key Condo?

A genuinely manageable portfolio
We intentionally keep portfolio sizes reasonable so you can provide good care and attention to each condominium — not just triage problems all day.

Salary tied to unit count (we won’t overload you)
Your compensation is proportional to the number of units you manage, so we don’t “reward” growth by quietly dumping more units on you for free. The posted range ($85,000–$105,000) depends on the number of units in your portfolio.

Clear goals + clear raises
You’ll have defined performance goals and a transparent pathway for increases — our goal is for you to hit those milestones as soon as possible, not “someday.”

Flexibility that actually helps
Enjoy a flexible 40-hour workweek (including board meetings) from home, so you can do excellent work and have a life outside of it.

Supportive, structured environment
We provide mentorship, digital tools, and strong internal processes so you can run your portfolio effectively and confidently — with clear expectations and clear priorities.

As a Condo Manager, you’ll manage owner/resident communication, support condo board operations, coordinate vendors, and keep projects moving — with the tools and structure to do it well.

Key responsibilities

Owner and resident interactions

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns
Communicate clearly and proactively to support resident satisfaction
Support compliance with the Condominium Property Act and related regulations
Protect resident privacy and confidential corporate information
Board support

Provide board members with actionable information to support informed decisions
Maintain transparency and accountability in board processes
Strengthen board relationships through strong follow-up and consistent communication
Vendor coordination

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
Set expectations and follow through on timelines and quality
Align vendor work with board directives and project goals
Emergency management

Respond quickly to emergencies and dispatch contractors as needed
Communicate clearly with residents impacted by emergencies and coordinate follow-ups
Financial administration (collaborative)

Support efficient financial processes that reduce errors and improve clarity
Work closely with bookkeepers, vendors, and boards to align with budgets and required processes
Development and growth

Stay current on best practices, industry standards, and relevant legal/regulatory changes
Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:

A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
Diligent, and solutions-oriented
Calm under pressure and skilled at de-escalation during high-stress situations
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong at coordination
Comfortable speaking with boards and confidently reporting status, risks, and recommendations
Able to prioritize what matters most and stay aligned with company goals
Requirements

Alberta condo management license required
Reliable vehicle and willingness to do regular site visits (mileage reimbursed)
RECA Associate or Associate Broker License preferred

The first 3–6 months include significant onsite training to set you up for success
