Job Overview

Acedia Care are proud to offer the exciting opportunity of the role of Accounts and Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team and will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, and maintaining compliance with all necessary regulations. The role offers an excellent opportunity to join a continually expanding company and gives a great chance to utilise your accounts and payroll expertise.

Duties

Process employee payroll using recognised accounting and HRIS software (Xero, RotaCloud, BrightHR).
Ensure that all payroll data is entered accurately and efficiently, including hours worked, statutory deductions, and benefits.
Manage accounts payable related to payroll, including tax deductions, and other statutory contributions.
Reconcile payroll reports and prepare detailed analyses to identify discrepancies or errors.
Maintain employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Assist with year-end reporting requirements and statutory compliance documentation.
Support Human Resources functions related to payroll administration, including onboarding and offboarding.
Respond promptly to employee queries regarding salary payments, deductions, and benefits.
Requirements

Proven experience with Xero.
Proven experience with Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and data entry.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes related to payroll.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
Prior experience of working within accounts and payroll.
Organised with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good communication skills to liaise with employees and external agencies.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
