Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Dealership Inventory Clerk. This role involves managing and recording inventory, processing dealer trades, and performing back-end Parts Payable posting. The Inventory Clerk will ensure accuracy in transaction recording, maintain proper documentation, and support the dealership's financial reporting efforts.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory for New vehicles.
Conduct audits at End of Month and verify inventory levels.
Manage the transfer of vehicles between dealerships and ensure all paperwork is complete.
Dealer Trade Processing:

Facilitate dealer trades by processing paperwork.
Verify trade-in vehicle values and reconcile differences as needed.
Back-End Reconciliation:

Verify and allocate transactions related to vehicle purchases.
Post Parts invoices and reconcile the Factory parts Statement
Order Office Supplies
Sort incoming mail and Overnight envelopes
Maintain proper documentation and ensure transaction back-up documents are organized and accessible.
Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures related to inventory management and financial transactions.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to data protection regulations.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or automotive studies is preferred.
Proven experience in inventory management, accounting support, or related roles within an automotive dealership.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
