Description
The Program Manager (MGS Consultant) will report to the Manager, Contingent Workforce and will be accountable for directing and controlling all phases of the client requisition process to support contingent labor hiring for assigned job categories, while successfully optimizing supplier relationships and maintaining program compliance. In addition, the Program Manager will participate in various program initiatives to positively impact talent quality, program costs, process efficiencies and risk mitigation for the Client.
Responsible for daily operations and support of hiring managers and suppliers in all stages of requisition process (requisition to invoicing) to ensure successful fulfillment of contingent workforce requirements.
For assigned job categories/skill sets, consult and assist hiring managers in the approach and identification of quality resources in a timely manner while managing cost controls and compliance to program processes.
Build and optimize external supplier relationships to drive supplier performance and ensure adherence to program processes and contractual obligations.
Communicate opportunities for continuous improvement, issues and risks to leadership.
Assist with supplier performance reviews/assessments and program reporting.
Other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Required Education: Associates Degree
Minimum Required Experience: 2+ years in contingent workforce programs or contingent workforce vendor management.
CCWP desired but not required.
Ability to effectively research and gather data to optimize resources and recommends/implements solutions.
Presents organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
Excellent communication skills to partner and deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization.
Utilizes variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to and support new work structures, processes, or cultures.
Demonstrates follow-up skills.
Provides timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors.
Prioritizes regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame.
Self-motivated.
Team-oriented. Consults with Team members and management as needed to complete assigned responsibilities.
Works with minimal supervision.
Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel; create queries in company software applications.
Proficiency with vendor management systems (prefer Fieldglass)
