Job Description
EM Dynamics is excited to expand with the launch of our new state-of-the-art facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. As we continue to grow our U.S. operations, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to support a world-class manufacturing environment with capabilities in precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and supply chain management.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory to ensure production schedules are supported and customer orders are fulfilled on time. This role helps maintain accurate stock records, minimize waste, and improve efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Maintaining and updating required inventory levels for products and materials
● Conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, updating the ERP system for inventory tracking and reporting.
● Conducting quality checks on stored inventory to comply with company standards
● Collaborating with production and procurement to forecast demand and avoid material shortages or overstock.
● Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
● Implementing inventory management procedures and processing invoices
● Preparing relevant reports for management and other departments
● Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
● Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
● Support internal audits and maintain compliance with inventory policies and procedures.
● Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
● Other duties as required.
● Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Qualifications
● 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
● Proficiency with ERP/MRP inventory management systems.
● Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
● Basic math and computer skills (Excel, data entry).
● Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Inventory Accuracy – Ensures records match physical counts; maintains reliable stock levels to support production.
Attention to Detail – Identifies discrepancies, prevents errors, and ensures accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Organizational Skills – Keeps inventory areas orderly and manages multiple tasks efficiently.
Problem-Solving – Investigates and resolves inventory variances, shortages, and material flow issues.
Communication – Clearly relays information to production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
Teamwork & Collaboration – Works effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations.
Time Management – Prioritizes tasks to meet production deadlines and shipment schedules.
Technical Skills – Uses ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and data entry tools effectively.
Adaptability – Responds quickly to changes in production demands or supply chain issues.
Safety & Compliance – Follows company, regulatory, and safety standards in all inventory handling tasks.
Working Conditions
Regular walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with varying conditions.
