4th Grade Math Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, and the ability to engage students in meaningful ways. This position involves teaching mathematics at various levels, implementing effective lesson plans, and utilizing innovative learning technologies to enhance student understanding.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to engage students in the subject matter effectively.
Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
Provide early intervention support for students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts.
Mentor students, fostering their academic growth and encouraging a love for mathematics.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians as necessary.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school environment.
Strong skills in literacy education and lesson planning, demonstrating the ability to integrate literacy into mathematics instruction.
Proficiency in using learning technology tools to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Experience in behavior management techniques that promote positive classroom dynamics.
Excellent written communication skills for lesson documentation, reporting, and parent communication.

Pay: $57,500.00 - $59,769.00 per year
