Business English Teachers (ESP)

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Business English Teachers (ESP) to join our dynamic language education team. Teachers must be mobile and have a reliable form of transportation to visit various sites in Gatineau/Ottawa.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver customized Business English lessons that meet the specific needs of adult learners and corporate clients
Develop engaging curriculum materials, including case studies, role-plays, and real-world business scenarios
Assess learners’ language proficiency levels and track progress through regular evaluations and feedback
Foster a motivating learning environment that encourages active participation and practical application of skills
Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and share best practices for effective ESP instruction
Incorporate industry-specific terminology and communication techniques relevant to various business sectors
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learner achievements in compliance with organizational standards
Qualifications

ESL Teaching Certificate
Proven experience teaching Business English or English for Specific Purposes (ESP), especially in professional or corporate settings
Strong understanding of business communication, terminology, and industry practices
Prior experience working with university students or academic institutions is highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse adult learners
Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and professional backgrounds
Fluency in English with clear pronunciation and effective communication skills
