Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Digital Platforms Manager to support and enhance our digital learning environment across the region. This role can be based at a number of our campuses across New Zealand.
Reporting to the Director of Digital Learning, this role is responsible for the administration, integration, and optimisation of key digital learning and administrative platforms used across OneSchool Global NZ.
You will oversee systems including Canvas (LMS), Edge (SMS), and integrated teaching and learning tools such as Panopto, Zoom, and Microsoft platforms. Working closely with teaching staff, IT teams, and global Digital Learning colleagues, you will ensure platforms are well managed, fit for purpose, and aligned with global governance guidelines.
This role includes a 0.6 FTE teaching component. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified secondary teacher with experience teaching the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA. Teaching capability in Commerce, English, or Science is preferred, however teachers from other subject areas will also be considered. Remuneration includes a base salary in line with your salary step and an additional leadership allowance.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the regional Canvas instance, including course creation and enrolments
Responding to platform support requests
Assisting with data extraction, reporting, and user training
Collaborating on the selection, implementation, and review of digital tools
Maintaining a database of approved software with the global Digital Learning team
About you:
Strong systems administration skills
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
A commitment to confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety
Understanding of digital pedagogy
Knowledge of data privacy, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Valid New Zealand teacher registration
