Manga Hotel Group is a Canadian company involved in the acquisition, development and management of high-quality residences and hotels affiliated with prestigious brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and Intercontinental Hotels Group. Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 34 hotels with over 6000 rooms across Canada and in the United States, 18 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties with several new properties and developments in the pipeline. As Manga Hotel Group continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. As Corporate Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, ensuring guest satisfaction, and overseeing revenue and sales at our hotels.
Your basic duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Deploying knowledge of Hilton, Marriott, IHG and/or Hyatt systems to optimize operational processes and workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity across various departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance;
• Consistently and proactively measuring hotel performance (sales, revenue, market share, GSS, GOP, Accounts Receivable, STR (RGI), and online reviews) to ensure each hotel exceeds its target goals;
• Responsibility for ensuring all hotels are meeting brand guidelines for service, quality, and training;
• Following and promoting the organization's policies, philosophies, and procedures and effectively articulating and presenting the organization's vision and values;
• Conducting regular property visits and monitoring and reviewing overall performance and overseeing daily hotel operations;
• Collaborating with the financeteam to set and achievefinancial goals, monitorkey performance indicators, control expenses, and drive revenue generation to achieve profitability targets; and
• Responsibility for the overall revenue, sales, and operational performance of the hotels assigned to you.
Qualifications:
• Significant experience in hotel operations, preferably with Hilton, Marriot, Hyatt and/or IHG.
• A minimum of fiveyears' experience managingregional operations in the hotelindustry.
• Strong knowledge of the full-service hotelindustry, including an understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Familiarity with hotel propertymanagement systems and other relevantsoftware.
