Software Engineer (AI Focus)

Position Overview

Hassle Free Home Services was born out of a realization that homeownership came with its share of surprises—a never-ending to‐do list, constant maintenance, and unexpected upgrades. Since 2003, we’ve assisted hundreds of homeowners with a simple motto: one call solves it all. Our monthly home maintenance and management services are designed to let homeowners reclaim their precious free time.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer passionate about leveraging AI and innovative technologies to transform home management. In this role, you will develop and maintain dynamic web applications, integrate Airtable solutions, and collaborate on AI‐driven enhancements that simplify and enrich our members’ and team members’ experience. You’ll work within a tight-knit team committed to your growth. This role reports to our Lead AI Engineer and Head of Digital Product and is based in Rockville, MD. Key Responsibilities
• Help bring our AI vision into execution across all key functional areas of the company.
• Build, launch and deploy key features that enhance member & team experience every day.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications, including front-end and back-end components.
• Integrate and enhance Airtable-based systems, workflows, and APIs to support operational excellence.
• Automate processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload so we can scale profitably.
• Collaborate on the implementation and deployment of AI-driven features to optimize user experience and streamline internal processes.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of JavaScript, 2 years of Python, and 1 year of HTML/CSS front-end experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Airtable preferred.
