Position: HR Intern

Location: Vancouver, BC (In-Office)

Term: 20 week Summer Internship


Hello Nori is a dynamic fast fine-dining Japanese establishment with a bold mission: to define the hand roll bar experience. Our journey began in February 2021, and since then, Hello Nori has swiftly emerged as Vancouver’s most beloved culinary gems. Fueled by the remarkable strides we’ve made on our journey, we have committed to introducing multiple new Hello Nori locations across Canada, spreading our unique concept even further. As we embark on this exciting expansion, we are actively seeking to grow our team with dedicated and exceptional individuals like yourself, who share our passion for excellence.


The Role

This is a student internship designed for someone currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day HR operations, working with employee data, documentation, and entry-level recruitment in a fast-paced hospitality environment.


What You’ll Do

Update and maintain employee records in our HR system (Push Operations)
Audit and organize digital employee files
Support onboarding and offboarding tasks
Assist with HR documents, forms, and internal guides
Post job openings and screen resumes
Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates
Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Who You Are

Must be enrolled and in progress of completing a Human Resources or business program at a Canadian University/College
Legally able to work full-time in Canada, and on-site at our Vancouver office
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information
Curious about HR and excited to learn the fundamentals of People Operations

Nice to Have

Exposure to HR systems or administrative work
Hospitality, retail, or customer-facing experience
