Job Description
We are looking to recruit 2x Time Served Technicians for our new site in Glasgow. The Ideal candidate will be confident in their experience and able to complete work to a high standard. We complete all types of work from Diagnostics, Servicing, Timing and Clutches on all makes and models of cars. Our salary starts from £38000 to £48000 with a competitive benefits package inc 33 days holiday per year.

Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
Follow assembly procedures accurately to ensure proper fitment and function of parts.
Repair or replace faulty parts, including welding components when necessary, ensuring safety standards are met.
Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or heavy vehicle parts.
Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and answering client queries professionally.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills
Strong knowledge of vehicle schematics and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks.
Good understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques.
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during diagnostics and repairs.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
Effective communication skills for liaising with customers and team members.
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and working in various positions for extended periods. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in automotive repair within a professional setting that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
