About the Positio
The Role
Au Vodka is looking for a Social Media Manager to own our social presence end-to-end, working closely alongside another Social Media Manager within the Marketing team. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who lives and breathes social culture, understands premium brand storytelling, and is as comfortable behind the camera as they are in front of it.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing social strategy across platforms, creating and editing content, managing the social calendar, and ensuring Au Vodka shows up consistently, creatively, and culturally relevant. While you’ll collaborate closely with another Social Media Manager, this is not a people management role it’s about shared creativity, clear ownership, and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own Au Vodka’s social media strategy and execution across all relevant platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.)
Work collaboratively alongside another Social Media Manager to deliver a consistent, high-performing social presence
Plan, create, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality social-first content end-to-end
Be comfortable appearing in content when required and representing the brand on camera
Manage the social content calendar, scheduling, and posting cadence
Align on strategy, content planning, and campaign execution while maintaining individual ownership of output
Ensure all content reflects Au Vodka’s premium brand positioning and tone of voice
Stay ahead of trends, formats, sounds, and platform updates, translating them into on-brand ideas
Collaborate with the wider Marketing team on campaigns, launches, partnerships, and events
Monitor performance, engagement, and insights, using data to optimise content and strategy
Manage day-to-day community engagement in line with brand guidelines
Support shoots, editing, scheduling, and reactive content across the team when neede
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience managing social media for a brand, with clear end-to-end ownership
Strong understanding of social strategy, platform best practices, and performance metrics
Confident shooting and editing social-first content (mobile-first, fast turnaround)
Comfortable being on camera and directing content when required
Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
Strong creative judgement with a premium brand mindset
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others.
Desirable Experience
Experience working with a premium brand and/or within FMCG
Background in alcohol, lifestyle, fashion, or culture-led brands
Familiarity with social analytics and scheduling tools
