Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging drama lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development. This role offers an opportunity to inspire learners and contribute to their growth within a supportive performing arts school community.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum standards and student needs
Assess student progress through observations, providing constructive feedback
Create an inclusive environment that encourages participation and respect
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and productive learning space
Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and share best practices
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging lessons effectively
Excellent communication skills to connect with students and colleagues
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching
Ability to motivate and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities
A recognised teaching qualification or relevant experience in education is preferred
Have (or willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
