Location: Haverfordwest
Hours: Permanent Part Time (Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Salary: National Minimum Wage for age + £0.30 per hour

We are a well-established accounting firm with a strong client base and a focus on providing reliable, personal service. With our long-serving receptionist retiring, we are looking for a capable, friendly, and tech-savvy professional to join our team—someone who is ready to take on more than just answering the phone.
The Role
This permanent role combines traditional front-desk duties with hands-on support in administration and operations. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys varied tasks, has good IT skills, and likes to stay busy and organized.
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the practice—answering calls, helping clients, and assisting with document management, invoicing, It is a role that can expand and develop.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming calls.
General copy typing.
Greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
Manage client appointments, emails, and incoming/outgoing mail.
Maintain digital and paper-based filing systems.
Data entry and updating client records on practice management system.
Support with tax return submissions.
Assist with invoice processing and bookkeeping support.
Take card payments.
Assist PA to the partner.
Organize supplies and liaise with external service providers.
Provide general admin support to the office team.
Requesting documentation from clients
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
Comfortable learning new software and systems.
Well-organized, accurate, detail-oriented and proactive.
A professional attitude and the ability to work independently.
Ensuring confidentiality of client information.
Bonus Points For
Experience in an accounting or professional services office.
Experience with Adobe Sign, using multiple IT platforms
Office experience (2 years)
