Previously operating in Pune and Lucknow, the Foundation now focuses primarily on Bongaigaon, Assam, through its K-10 institution, Braintree International School. It provides quality, accessible, and innovative learning experiences that emphasize 21st-century skills and community development, partnering strategically with organizations like JECI to build a skilled future workforce. This year, we're expanding support by collaborating with the "Mentor & Mentee Learning Centre," an after-school program for students from state and national board schools in Bongaigaon.
Over the past decade, the organization has supported more than 5,000 children in grades Nursery through Grade X.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Teacher at Reiyukai Knowledge Foundation, located in Bongaigaon, Assam. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, facilitating classroom activities, evaluating student progress, and providing training and educational support to foster a positive learning environment. The role also involves collaborating with fellow educators and contributing to the implementation of innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Position Requirement
Lead Teacher Mathematics
• Bachelor's/Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with a strong track record in Math Education.
• Pedagogy and Curriculum with strong content knowledge
• Planning and execution skills
• Critical and objective thinking, problem-solving, and resilience
• Highly motivated, persevering, and achievement-oriented attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility in planning and working with a team
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in the English Language
English Coordinator
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education/Psychology/Language.
• Certification in Child Psychology / Socio Emotional Learning
• Experience of mentoring and teacher-training
• Data-driven decision-making skills
• Experience with educational technology for English learning
• CENTA Certified
• Highly motivated, persevering, achievement-oriented attitude
• Experience in handling younger children of the age group 6 - 12 yrs
Lead Teacher Science
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education
• Experience in curriculum design or Science project development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
• Experience with practical experiments and lab management
• Ability to lead Science initiatives and train other teachers
• Self-awareness/ Continuous learning
• Highly motivated, persevering, achievement - oriented attitude
• Knowledge of safety protocols in the composite lab
• Data-based decision making
• CENTA Certified
Lead Teacher Social Science
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science / History or a related field
• Proven experience (min. 2 years) teaching high school/secondary social science with a strong track record
• Exceptional communication, classroom management, and proficiency in educational technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent fluency in English
