As Group Manager Procurement, you will set the direction for the function, strengthening strategic supplier partnerships and driving continuous improvement while protecting margins across a complex, multi-site environment.

You will build and lead a high performing, customer focused function, developing capability across category management, purchasing, inventory, analytics, and supplier relationship management. Creating an inclusive, values led culture with clear accountability and performance ownership will be critical to success.

From a commercial perspective, you will proactively manage cost pressures, deliver sustainable savings and cost avoidance, protect EBIT and cash flow through disciplined inventory, working capital, and demand management. Safety sits at the core of this role. You will provide visible leadership across sourcing, procurement, stores, and logistics, embedding a zero harm culture and ensuring EHS requirements are integral to supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing performance management.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and governance for the end to end strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply function across eight operational sites, ensuring safe, resilient, and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
Partner with executive leaders, operational teams, and strategic suppliers to proactively manage risk, anticipate market dynamics, and drive value through data-led and digital procurement initiatives.
Embed a zero harm culture across the supply chain, ensuring EHS standards are integral to supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing performance management.
Build, develop and lead a high-performing, inclusive team, that spans across strategic sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, analytics, and supplier relationship management.
Define and execute the enterprise procurement strategy, delivering continuous improvement, sustainable cost savings, and margin protection while supporting operational excellence.
Drive process and capability innovation across procurement, leveraging technology, analytics, and best-practice frameworks to future proof the function.
About you:
We are looking for someone who brings:

Proven senior executive with established and demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership across multi-site operations.
Proven track record delivering sustainable cost optimisation, value creation, and margin protection at enterprise scale.
Demonstrated capability to build, lead, and develop high-performing, inclusive teams, embedding a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial ownership.
Strategic and commercially minded leader with experience leading enterprise transformation, digital enablement, and continuous improvement across complex environments.
Highly effective senior stakeholder influencer, with the ability to engage, align, and challenge internal leaders and strategic suppliers to achieve business outcomes.
