Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling
Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any delays
Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off as required
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with excellent driving skills
Valid driver’s licence or equivalent, with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Organised with good time management skills to meet tight schedules
Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area

Pay: £190.00-£222.46 per day
