Regional Finance and Accounts Receivable Officer

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Accounts Receivable Officer to join our New Zealand Finance team based in Auckland.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on school fee processing, collections and core finance support across our NZ campuses. You will work closely with the Regional Finance Manager, campus teams and parents to ensure income is managed accurately, professionally and on time.
What you will be doing
Processing annual school fees, charitable funding and other income
Managing collections and outstanding receivables across NZ campuses
Acting as a key contact for parents and internal stakeholders on fee queries
Supporting student transfers alongside Finance and Education teams
Completing daily bank reconciliations
Reconciling key balance sheet accounts
Supporting finance projects, process improvements and compliance activities
About you
You are organised, detail focused and confident dealing with people. You are comfortable owning your work, following up where needed and finding practical solutions.
You will ideally have
3 to 5 years experience in a similar accounts receivable or finance role
Experience working across multiple stakeholders or entities
Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A collaborative, team-first mindset
Skills and experience
Experience using accounting or ERP systems, Sage experience is an advantage
Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of finance processes and controls
