Vocal Teacher

Crescendo Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Vocal Teacher to join our team of educators. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians through high-quality, individualised music lessons in a supportive and inspiring environment.

About the Role:
As a Vocal Teacher at Crescendo, you will provide one-on-one vocal lessons tailored to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced performers. You will guide students in developing their vocal technique, musical expression, repertoire, and performance confidence, with opportunities to prepare students for examinations, recitals, and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, structured, and personalised vocal lessons
Develop students’ technique, musicality, and performance skills
Prepare students for music examinations (AMEB/other relevant boards) and performances
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
Maintain professional communication and scheduling with students and parents
Collaborate with other teachers for ensemble and concert opportunities
Requirements:

Formal training in vocal performance or music education
Previous teaching experience preferred, with the ability to teach students of all ages
Strong knowledge of vocal technique and repertoire across multiple genres
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their musical goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
