Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols aligned with HIPAA standards.
Observe patients’ conditions closely, report changes promptly to nursing staff, and document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records.
Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease in memory or assisted living facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Experience

Prior experience working in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), or outpatient clinics is highly valued.
Demonstrated familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
Experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices enhances your ability to deliver exceptional patient service.
Previous roles involving medication administration or working within acute care settings like emergency medicine or urgent care are advantageous.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice patients, or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care services ensures comprehensive patient support. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
