Welder - Fixed Term

Our client are a leading steel company specializing in the production of high-quality gates distributed nationwide. With a commitment to excellence and precision engineering, we take pride in delivering durable and aesthetically pleasing gates to our clients across New Zealand.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in fabricating gates for our nationwide clientele. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and metal fabrication, with a focus on producing top-quality workmanship.
This position offers day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, please note this is a fixed term position covering leave - Immediate start for one month.


Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks according to project specifications and quality standards.
Fabricate steel gates and components using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG).
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role, preferably in gate fabrication or steel manufacturing.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to produce high-quality welds.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision craftsmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
Valid residency status in New Zealand and authorization to work.
