What You Will Do
After completing your induction training you will work in our Machine Shop completing required work repairing engine parts, in accordance with the approved data, customer requirements and company procedures.
Using our computer system to document and record your work.
Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
You are Trade qualified Machinist NZQA Level 4 (or equivalent) with strong machining and hand skills. Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications upon application.
Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (open work visa without limitations, residency, or citizenship).
Strong background in manual machining (lathes, mills or grinders).
CNC setting and programming skills (FANUC, Siemens, Haas, Okuma).
Qualifications We Prefer
Basic CAD/ CAM skills.
Have solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, mechanical engineering or related.
Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions.
Strong hand skills.
Good computer literacy.
Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and good organizational skills.
Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player.
Be passionate about your work and always strive for the best and take pride in your work.
Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture.
Be flexible and adaptable.
Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting.
Hours of work

In this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern. Availability to work overtime is appreciated and compensated accordingly.
