Our client requires an Application Developer to work on assigned web application services/projects. The role of application developer is to develop code based on business requirements, assisting in production delivery, documentation of the application and assisting in quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
Education
University degree, diploma or certificate in computer science or a related discipline
Requirements
University degree, diploma or certificate in computer science or a related discipline
Experience with software development processes, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, and policies.
Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Experience with unit testing, and test-driven development tools.
Experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework.
Experience developing Microsoft Web Services.
Experience querying data with Microsoft Transact-SQL Server.
Experience developing Microsoft SQL Server database.
Experience working as part of an application maintenance and support team trouble shooting and resolving issues.
Desirables
Experience and technical knowledge of Team Foundation Server.
Knowledge of secure coding practices.
Experience and technical knowledge of Responsive Design.
Experience and technical knowledge of Angular.
Experience programming in HTML with JavaScript and CSS.
Experience developing ASP.NET MVC web applications.
Working knowledge of W3C.
Experience with post-secondary education or education systems.
Certification in Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD).
Experience working as an Application Developer in an enterprise IT environment
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Working knowledge of ADFS
Experience following formalized Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
