Food & Beverage Attendant

InterContinental Wellington is looking for a number of passionate experienced Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team!

Located next to Wellington's waterfront, InterContinental Wellington is the most centrally situated five-star hotel in New Zealand's capital. The hotel offers exceptional culinary experiences with five diverse food and beverage outlets, perfect for any occasion.

Your day to day

Memorable dining experiences are created through the right ambiance, sounds, aromas, and, most importantly, excellent service. As a Food & Beverage Attendant you'll be essential in making these moments special. You’ll welcome guests, recommend food and drinks, and ensure smooth and consistent service. You’ll help create lasting memories that are as unforgettable as the meals.

In this role, you may work across various hotel outlets, including breakfast service, fine dining at GPO, The Lobby Lounge, Conference & Events, In-Room Dining, Two Grey and the Club Lounge.

What we need from you

Deliver a high level of service that our customers have come to expect

Great communication skills to interact with both customers & the team

Have flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays

Prior waiting experience in a cafe/bar/restaurant environment

A valid New Zealand visa or residency is essential.
