Prep Cook/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring that ingredients are ready for cooking and presentation. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Follow proper food storage practices to prevent contamination and spoilage
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality and service
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock
Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Basic understanding of meal preparation and serving procedures
