About You
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for excelling in this role. A genuine passion for supporting older people and collaborating with the wider team is essential. As a clinical leader, you will leverage your clinical expertise to guide the team towards achieving outstanding care outcomes. Your alignment with the Quality of Care Principles will enable you to effectively support, educate, and mentor your team, ensuring high standards of care and continuous improvement.
The Role
This is a part-time position working at Lady McCusker Home working 53.2 hours per fortnight

Monday: 0700-1515
Tuesday: 0700-1515
Thursday: 0700-1515
Friday: 0700-1515
Week 2
Tuesday: 0700-1515
Thursday: 0700-1515
Friday: 0700-1515
Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
Key responsibilities
Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments
Safely administer medication to residents
Falls management and prevention
Complete documentation for residents ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documents
Supervise the delivery of care plans on a daily basis
Providing ongoing coaching, mentoring to the care staff
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with Aged Care Standards and Risk Management
Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA Registration
Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvement
Willingness to attend 2 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
