Are you looking for a PACU role that provides you the time and resources to give the level of care you've always wanted? Here's an opportunity for you to join our amazing PACU team at Allevia Hospital Epsom on a permanent 0.8 FTE basis. You'll work 8 & 10 hr shifts rostered across 0730 - 2030, primarily Mon-Fri, plus on-calls and the odd Saturday/Public Holiday.
The PACU at Epsom is contained within our beautiful new Gilgit Wing, and is a spacious state of the art 17 bay PACU, supporting 10 busy new theatres. Surgical specialties at Epsom include: General, Cardiothoracic, Orthopaedic, Reconstructive Head & Neck, Colorectal, Oncology etc...
Ngā kōrero mōu | About you:
Registration as an RN in NZ with a current APC
A minimum of 12 months current PACU experience within a NZ hospital (or similar - Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada)
Strong acute care skills - allowing you to think on your feet; make effective decisions and advocate for your patients to ensure optimal outcomes
Great communication skills and the ability to cope with a busy and ever changing environment
Ideally - certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS level 6) and/or certified in paediatric advanced life support (PALS), however the opportunity to obtain certification is available
