Job Description
We are seeking friendly, proactive individuals to provide outstanding food, drink, and retail experiences to our guests. As part of our team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a collaborative atmosphere, and help create memorable dining experiences that keep our guests coming back.
What We Are Looking For:
Reliability and Punctuality: Must demonstrate excellent time management skills and a commitment to being on time for every shift.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in restaurant service.
Soft Skills: Positive attitude, energetic, excellent customer service, conflict resolution, proactive mindset, and attention to detail.
Teamwork: Effective communication, time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.
English Proficiency: Must communicate effectively with guests and team members in English.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and safely lift items up to 30 pounds.
Schedule: Weekdays, holidays, and adjust to shifts based on business needs. We do not currently have Weekend Shifts available.
Education: Secondary school graduation is required.
Location: Must live in Calgary.
Assets:
Driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, friendly service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
Monitor and observe guests’ dining and retail experiences, ensuring satisfaction.
Be proficient in the operation of POS (TouchBistro, Shopify), table management (Sevenrooms, OpenTable), and third-party delivery apps.
Plate, garnish, and pack food items as needed.
Sell retail items and assist guests with their purchases.
Handle hosting duties online, via text, social media, and phone calls.
Prepare the dining room for reservations and ensure smooth table turnovers.
Complete daily cleaning duties, basic dishwashing, polishing, and roll-ups.
Prepare beverages and serve wine.
Process bills, accept payments, and handle gift cards and gratuities.
