We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality ice cream and related products, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Duties

Prepare and mix ingredients to create a variety of ice cream flavors according to established recipes and standards.
Operate commercial ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Serve customers at the counter, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process cash or card transactions with proper cash handling procedures.
Upsell products and promote seasonal or specialty items to enhance customer experience and sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Provide friendly, attentive customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen duties related to food handling and sanitation standards.
Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments; food industry experience is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient cashiering and order processing.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement, portioning, and cash handling transactions.
Experience in serving or cashiering roles within a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
