EOI - Rope Access Technician (All Levels)

We are seeking qualified and experienced Rope Access Technicians to register their interest for upcoming projects in Alberta, British Columbia, and New Brunswick. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with Altrad Canada as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Execute trade-specific tasks while on rope access systems
Follow all safety protocols and IRATA standards
Perform inspections, repairs, installations, or maintenance in hard-to-reach areas
Complete detailed job reports and work documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and site supervisors
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety requirements
Qualifications & Experience

IRATA certification (any level) required
Journeyperson ticket or equivalent in another trade (i.e. insulation, paint & coatings, electrician, pipefitter, mechanical) preferred
Minimum one year of experience in large new construction and maintenance projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, and other similar industries
Must be able to pass Verification of Competency Assessment
Must comply with pre-access drug & alcohol screening and pre-employment medical assessment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment
Demonstrate practical experience of risk management processes
Valid safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection/Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Standard First Aid with CPR)
Valid work rights status in Canada
