What You'll Be Doing:
Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) based food safety plans and documentation.
Train production employees on Food Safety, HACCP, and related protocols.
Monitor sanitation procedures and ensure all cleaning meets regulatory and company standards.
Report any procedural issues or inconsistencies directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Review HACCP paperwork for accuracy and completeness, and follow up with team members as needed.
Identify and recommend improvements in all areas of production.
Support all areas of the facility to ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Complete and verify HACCP paperwork and quality checks on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis; ensure all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
Review HACCP forms for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies as needed.
Fill out daily sanitation, facility, and quality check records to maintain compliance.
Collaborate with the manager to identify, reject, and hold any damaged or non-conforming products received at the facility.
Meet regularly with team leaders during shifts to assess operational needs and resolve production or quality-related issues.
Maintain and update weekly equipment calibration records.
Monitor cooler temperatures regularly throughout the week to ensure proper storage conditions.
Conduct routine environmental swabbing and collect product samples for submission to third-party laboratories.
Perform daily inspections on work-in-progress and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Supervise lot tracking and oversee organization of the cooler and freezer areas for efficiency and compliance.

What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
Prior HACCP training is an asset.
Knowledge of produce and/or food products for quality assessment purposes is preferred.
Previous experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is desirable.
Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Capacity to stand for long periods of time, often exceeding 10 hours per shift.
Capability to perform frequent physical movements such as bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, and walking throughout the facility.
Comfortable working in environments with temperatures ranging from below 4°C (39°F) to ambient room temperature.

What You Can Expect:
Salary: $43,000 - $45,000
Shift Schedule (Onsite): Wednesday to Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
