Key Responsibilities

As a Year 2–3 Apprentice Electrician, you will support the team with:

BESS & EV Battery System Support

Assist in Cold Commissioning and Hot Commissioning tasks
Support functional testing of battery storage systems
Learn how to optimise and verify system performance
Electrical Installation & Testing

Assist with wiring, cable routing and electrical equipment installation
Support testing of BESS, liquid-cooling units and chiller systems
Conduct basic electrical measurements under supervision
Fault-Finding Assistance

Assist qualified electricians with troubleshooting equipment
Help with component replacement and basic repairs
Documentation & Site Records

Record installation and commissioning data
Support preparation of simple reports or checklists
Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety procedures and Australian electrical standards
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
What We’re Looking For

Year 2–3 Apprentice Electrician (Certificate III in Electrotechnology – in progress)
Strong interest in battery storage, renewable energy, or industrial electrical systems
Willing to learn and take initiative
Ability to travel interstate for project work (all costs reimbursed)
Current driver’s licence (P or Full) is an advantage
Basic experience in electrical installation or industrial/commercial projects preferred

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
